GreenTec provides computational, network and I/O benchmarking services to obtain a baseline on your current hardware environment or other vendor

This benchmark can be used to compare your current environment against new environments for various hardware vendor configurations allowing you to select the best performance for the best price.

We have collected benchmark results for several vendor configurations of CPUs, I/O subsystems (RAID controllers, disk drives, device types), network cards, power and heat profiles and other metrics.

When selecting a new hardware environment, many factors come into consideration and each factor may have a different weight assigned depending on the importance of that factor to the selection criteria. GreenTec will provide you with an unbiased analysis in your evaluation and selection of your new hardware components based on the facts collected in our benchmark analysis. We will run the same benchmarks on the new environment and provide a comparison analysis and hardware selection recommendation based on your specific requirements and weighted selection criteria.

For example, in some cases, power is the limiting factor, while in others space or cost may be the limiting factor.

Please note that for procurements where GreenTec is being considered as a potential hardware vendor, we will not perform comparative benchmarking services against our competitors in order to ensure that there is no conflict of interest. However, we will provide the benchmark reports for any of the GreenTec hardware solutions.
